Agreement between the Union of Arab Chambers and UNIDO to establish a Center for Entrepreneurship

The Secretary-General of the Union of Arab Chambers, Dr. Khalid Hanafi, revealed an agreement between the Union and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) to establish centers for entrepreneurship in Arab countries to be adopted by the private sector.
"Egypt has been selected as the main center in order to achieve the goals of sustainable development in the Arab world," Hanafi said after a meeting in Bahrain with the head of the Investment Promotion Program of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) Dr. Hashem Suleiman Hussein.
Dr. Hanafi also clarified that "the establishment of entrepreneurship centers in the Arab countries is an initiative of the Union of Arab Chambers to create employment opportunities for Arab youth to significantly reduce unemployment through complexes and business incubators for projects aimed at providing goods in the local market and exporting abroad."
The Secretary-General of UAC also met in China with the President of the Silk Road Maritime Project and the President of the South-South Cooperation Project, where he discussed the inclusion of Egypt and the Arab countries on this line in business initiatives. He also participated in the World Conference of Youth and Entrepreneurs which was held in Chinese Shenzhen, where he delivered a speech on the role of the Union of Arab Chambers in entrepreneurship projects.
